23.3 - 21.4.2018
Opening: 23.3 2018, 5-7pm
In Gudrun Hasle's body of work "I miss" we are drawn so deeply into a private sphere that it touches something common. On each of the 9 large fabrics, hand sewn letters forms simple sentences like "I miss you when i held my head high" and "I miss you when i say flødebole". Entering the exibition will feels like stepping into an overgrown poetry collection, where the rhythm of the language melts together with movement of the fabrics in the installed works. The exhibition is like entering an aroused poetry collection, where the rhythm of the language fuses with the movement of the fabric in the suspended works. You are led from work to the work by the hypnotizing mantra "I miss you when" and the associations are set free through this list of possible misses.
