 Ella Kruglyanskaya: Girls with Beverages. 2012, oil and oil bar on canvas, 63,5 x 76,2 cm Once again, Art Collector Jens-Peter Brask has swept through Brooklyn. His selection from the New York art scene is done with insight and knowhow, and his choice is presented at the exhibition "News From New York", which takes place in Gallery Tom Christoffersen. Five out of the six invited artists exhibits in Scandinavia for the first time. In US they have either just reached a larger audience or are perhaps about to. We look forward to seeing more of: Austin Eddy, Joseph Hart, Ella Kruglyanskaya, Anthony Miler, Mason Saltarrelli and Maximillian Schubert.The many paintings and works on paper takes up space with speed, colourful visual stories, female bodies, art historical references and punch lines - all this is combined with serious compositions loaded with abstract distance. As a kaleidoscopic approach to the city of New York the group show recognizes each of the six artists approach to art making.
