Gruppeudstillingen When Words Collide II er den anden på Galleri Tom Christoffersen i en række af udstillinger, hvor ord, tekst og sprog i de billedkunstneriske værker spiller hovedrollen. I den første udstilling var fokus på overfladen og teksten på billederne, mens der denne gang er et mindre direkte aflæseligt forhold mellem ord og billede. Der er stadig ord på overfladerne, men i de fleste værker er det mere subtile referencer mellem tekst, ord og billede der nu skal dechifreres. Et overordnet tema omkring ’korrespondance’ slås an, og der kredses om rejser, breve, afstand, tid og heraf udspringer kærligheden, drømmene, længslen eller hadet.

The group show When Words Collide II is the second in a number of exhibitions in Galleri Tom Christoffersen, where words, text and language in the works play the main role. In the first exhibition, the focus was on the picture surface and the text directly on the works, while this time there is a less directly readable relationship between word and image. There are still words on the surfaces, but in most works there are more subtle references between texts, words and the images are now to be deciphered. An overall theme about 'correspondence' is played out, and it circles around; traveling, letters, distance, time, and from here stems love, dreams, desire or hatred.
